Setting: The year is AR 4850, approximately 100 years ago the shackles stood united against a newborn god and it's minions. The pirates defended their soil with the help of eight legendary heroes, the rest is history. A chaotic time ensued where empires crumbled, prophecies came and went and legends rose and fell. But now the inner sea is in shambles, bidding his time the Deep One has gathered his strength and his forces took the world with storm. In but a year almost half of the inner sea was consumed by hordes of watery terrors and cults of madness. The gods fought back, no one still know how it went so terribly wrong that the world lost Iomedae, Cayden Cailean, Irori, erastil and gozreh, maybe it was the corruption of gorum or treachery from within. The land screams in agony, the people plead for heroes to save them, you are not these heroes. You are part of a new initative from pathfinder society, to find the mighty artifacts that mysteriously disappeared and scattered throughout the world. Bring these artifacts to real heroes so they can save the day. But who knows, in an age of madness heores are born every day, both real and fictive...
